About Joan Roig

Joan Roig Artigues (1978, Mallorca) studied the ED FOTO’S Masters course at Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona in 2006. After finishing his studies, he developed his practices as a Picture Editor for National Geographic Traveller magazine. The same year, Joan began to work as a professional retoucher for the photographer Pep Bonet.

In 2007, he founded Addretouch, which specializes in post-production services for professional photographers. He teaches diverse workshops at Sevilla Foto, Sierra Magina, Montseny, Dr. Nopo etc. Roig also teaches specialist Fundación Miró courses in Palma de Mallorca, Ruido Formación, as professor on Photojournalism and Press course at CITM (Barcelona), and know works at Idep teaching differents courses.

Over the last year, he has also been a part of the Adobe Class of Sonigmafoto & Multimedia Biennial Fair and develops video tutorials on professional photographic retouching for the company production Video 2 Brain.

All Pep Bonet’s photography prizes from 2006 until now, including two second prizes in the Wolrd Press Photo awards, were postproduced by Addretouch.
